Read the pool first
Cards are pulled from skins you do not own, weighted toward lower tiers. Premium-tier cards show up but rarely at the top discount.
Decide before you flip
Pick your budget before the first card. Flipping all six then deciding is how people end up with a 40% discount on a skin for an agent they do not play.
When to top up
Top up once you have flipped and found something worth having. Points do not expire, so there is no advantage in loading up early — and if the market rolls badly, you have not spent anything.
